Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a Head of Application Security to lead its global security capability. You will define strategy, set standards, and drive execution across Application Security, DevSecOps, AI Security, and Cloud-Native Security Engineering.

You will supervise multiple security engineering teams, ensure secure-by-default designs, and report risk to senior leadership while aligning security with regulatory and business objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity, software engineering, or platform engineering.
• 8+ years in senior management within security engineering or architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define and own global Application Security strategy and standards.
• Lead security engineering teams across Application Security, DevSecOps, AI & Data Security, and Cloud & Infrastructure.
• Oversee secure SDLC, threat modelling, and security testing (SAST/DAST/DAST).
