Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Clinical Systems Specialist with 3–5 years of experience to lead global documentation, implementation and maintenance of clinical systems and interfaces, including InnTrax, EDM, SIP/IQVIA, and InFORMant.

The role requires strong data management skills, proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Access, and programming knowledge (T-SQL, VBA, MS-DOS, FTP) to support validation, testing, and reporting across regional projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant clinical systems experience.
• Strong experience with clinical systems and data management processes.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and support to Clinical Systems Specialists on system deployment and interface development.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant to the business, ensuring system requirements are feasible and aligned with operational needs.
• Act as team lead for application enhancements or special projects when required.
• Support the implementation of clinical systems and interfaces, including maintaining inventory and standardized templates.
• Perform bug fixes and system enhancements; provide second-level support for assigned systems (e.g., InnTrax, InFORMant, EDM).
• Develop, validate, and maintain ad-hoc queries in MS Access; generate reports and metrics.
• Review and approve validation documentation; participate in UAT with test cases and issue tracking.
• Provide training and documentation; update materials and coordinate rollout of training initiatives.
