Job description

Fluent in German, Obsessed with Detail, and Dreaming in Itineraries?

You're not just a travel planner.

You're a conductor of group journeys, a backstage magician who turns chaos into seamless adventure.

You know that a rooming list isn’t just a spreadsheet—it's the difference between a grumpy guest and a glowing review.

You speak German like it’s your first language, and you know Southern Africa like it’s your backyard.

The Role

You'll be the mastermind behind group travel experiences for German‑speaking guests.

From quoting and booking to guide briefings and on‑tour support, you’ll own the journey from start to finish.

You’ll liaise with overseas agents, tour guides, and suppliers to deliver unforgettable travel moments—on time, on budget and with flair.

  • Rewritten an itinerary three times because "good enough" isn’t good enough,
  • Briefed a tour guide so thoroughly they could host a TED Talk on your group,
  • Negotiated with suppliers like a seasoned diplomat,
  • And still had energy left to charm a client in perfect Hochdeutsch...
What You’ll Need
  • Fluency in written and spoken German (non‑negotiable)
  • 3+ years of experience with group travel and series bookings
  • Deep knowledge of Southern Africa’s geography and tourism products
  • A sixth sense for logistics, client care, and supplier wrangling
  • The ability to write proposals that make agents say "Ja, bitte!"
Bonus Points If You
  • Know German travel law and market expectations
  • Can spot a weak itinerary from a mile away
  • Have a knack for solving problems before they become complaints

This is an office‑based role with occasional out‑of‑hours flexibility.

You’ll be joining a team that values precision, creativity, and a good laugh when the job’s done right.
