A growing company in the beverage industry in Cape Town seeks a German Import / Export Clerk to manage procurement and logistics. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills. Additional skills in Pastel and German are advantageous. The role involves coordinating with suppliers and clients, preparing quotations, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Procuring various products from local and international suppliers.
  • Preparing quotations for cross-trade and import shipments for clients.
  • Coordinating with freight forwarders to obtain air, sea, and courier quotes.
  • Placing orders with various international and local suppliers.
  • Monitoring and following up with suppliers to arrange pick-up dates.
  • Daily follow-up on open orders with suppliers.
  • Organizing and expediting courier, air, and sea transport.
  • Keeping clients informed about orders and delivery times.
  • Monitoring customer accounts for due payments/invoicing.
  • Maintaining good relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Product costing.

We are a growing company that supplies raw materials, equipment, and spare parts to the beverage industry in Africa on behalf of major German and European manufacturing companies. To strengthen our team in Cape Town, we are looking for an Import / Export Clerk.

Qualifications

Main Responsibilities
