Qualifications

• Registered Nurse qualification is essential.
• Current SANC registration is essential.
• Experience with elderly residents is advantageous.
• Experience in Old Age Home or similar setting is advantageous.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of wound care and infection control.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents.
• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor health.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualised care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and changes in residents’ health.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Maintain medication records.
• Coordinate referrals and multidisciplinary care.
• Maintain accurate nursing and resident records.
• Ensure infection prevention and control standards.
• Support quality assurance and resident safety initiatives.
