Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of technicians and electricians responsible for the operation and maintenance of generators and transformers.
• Develop and implement scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose faults, and implement timely repairs to reduce equipment downtime.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source required tools, equipment, and replacement parts.
• Conduct thorough inspections to detect potential technical issues and implement early corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and internal operational standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including service logs and maintenance reports.
• Train, guide, and support technical staff on best practices and standard procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure uninterrupted operations and power availability.
• Keep current with industry developments and recommend improvements or upgrades to existing systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• Trade-tested Electrician with a valid 3-Phase Wiremans License (mandatory).
• A technical qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering is advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the maintenance and operation of generators and transformers.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems.
