Job summary

A leading power solutions company is seeking an Assistant Dispatcher to support the movement and management of generators. Responsibilities include scheduling deliveries and installations, maintaining accurate records, monitoring generator conditions, and ensuring safety compliance. Ideal candidates should have strong organizational skills, a dangerous goods certificate, and a PDP with 3 years driving experience. This is a full-time position located in Pretoria, South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling generator deliveries, installations, collections, and relocations.
• Maintain up-to-date dispatch logs, trip sheets, and job cards.
• Track generator movements in real-time and report on progress.
• Communicate with site supervisors, drivers, and technicians.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during loading and transport.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly generator movement reports.
• Ensure professional communication with internal and external clients.
