Job summary

EdUpStairs in South Africa is seeking a warehouse associate to handle stock receipt and dispatch operational flow. You will move items using pallet jacks or forklift equipment, pack stock into boxes, and maintain orderly warehouse cleanliness.

The role requires basic literacy, experience in a stores/warehouse environment, and the ability to lift heavy boxes. Willingness to train on Hyster/forklift and to work overtime as needed.

• Effective and efficient receiving of stock orders from the bulk store into Dispatch.

Job description

Minimum educational qualification: Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Experience: Appropriate experience in a stores / warehouse environment.
Inherent requirements of the job: Incumbent must be able and strong enough to lift heavy boxes.
Incumbent must be able to operate loaded pallet jacks within normal limits.
Willingness to undergo training to operate a Hyster/forklift.
Willingness to work overtime when required.
