Position overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Worker to assist in our food production facility. The role involves supporting the production team with day-to-day operations maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility and ensuring all hygiene and safety standards are met.

This is a part-time on-call position and you will be contacted to work as needed based on production volumes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily food production tasks including packing labeling and preparing ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all production and work areas.
• Follow strict food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Clean production equipment tools and work surfaces as required.
• Assist with loading and offloading raw materials and finished goods.
• Adhere to company policies and health & safety standards.
• Perform any other general duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food production manufacturing or cleaning (advantageous but not required).
• Must have a cellphone with WhatsApp for communication regarding shifts.
• Reliable punctual and able to follow instructions accurately.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Willingness to work on-call and adjust to changing production schedules.
• Availability for occasional weekend or public holiday shifts if required by production demands.

Work schedule
