Office Admin Manager – Luxury Safari Lodge Operations (Based in Maun, Botswana) Location: Maun, Botswana Salary: Negotiable, maximum PWP 35,000 Employment Type: Full-Time Eligibility: Only open to Botswana citizens or individuals with valid Permanent Residency in Botswana. No work permits will be issued for this role. A leading luxury safari lodge group with multiple high-end camps across the Okavango Delta and surrounding regions is seeking an experienced Office Admin Manager to oversee and coordinate its Maun-based support hub. The ideal candidate will already be based in Maun or elsewhere in Botswana and have prior experience in the safari or hospitality sector. This role is integral to the smooth running of lodge operations and requires a highly organized and resourceful individual capable of managing a team, handling complex logistics, and acting as the operational bridge between Maun and remote lodge locations. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement office and depot procedures to optimize operational efficiency.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the administrative, logistics, procurement, finance, HR, and operations teams.
• Act as the key liaison between the depot and lodge General Managers to ensure alignment on operational priorities.
• Ensure smooth scheduling and delivery of supplies and equipment to multiple lodges in remote areas.
• Oversee transport logistics for staff and guest movements as needed.
• Monitor procurement processes to ensure timely sourcing and distribution of consumables and operational materials.
• Manage office and logistics budgets; monitor expenditure and maintain cost control.
• Foster a cohesive and productive work environment, conduct performance appraisals and support staff development.
• Maintain effective communication channels across departments and with remote lodge teams. Requirements:
• Must be a Botswana citizen or permanent resident – no exceptions. (Please note: Valid work permits or temporary residency permits are not acceptable for this role.)
• Proven experience in operations or logistics management, preferably in the safari, travel, or hospitality industries.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office systems.
• Sound understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, particularly in remote environments.
• Experience in managing budgets and team performance.
• A hands-on, proactive approach to solving operational challenges.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and remote coordination. Preferred Profile:
• Candidates already working within safari lodge groups or logistics hubs in Maun or the Delta are especially encouraged to apply.
