General Manager Finance • Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

We are looking for an experienced CA(SA) to lead our Finance Department. The successful candidate will manage a team to ensure robust financial reporting and compliance across all operations.

Responsibilities

As General Manager Finance you will oversee the entire accounting and finance function ensuring accurate reporting to internal stakeholders statutory bodies and shareholders. You will manage banking relationships, raise finance when required and implement strong internal controls with periodic reviews. The role includes tax planning, BBBEE audits, statutory and compliance audits and secretarial duties related to CIPC. You will drive process improvements, maintain compliance and provide strategic financial leadership to support business growth.

Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 10 years experience leading finance teams
  • Background in manufacturing engineering shipping logistics or warehousing
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance
  • Experience in tax planning, audits (internal statutory BBBEE) and CIPC secretarial work
  • Ability to implement and monitor robust internal controls
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • SAP experience advantageous
Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant CA(SA) qualification required.
