  • Familiarity with AI tools for finance and business efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and manage cash flow forecasts.
  • Oversee year‑end audits and uphold strong governance standards.
  • Manage and develop teams across Debtors, Costings, and Orders.
  • Negotiate with banks, suppliers, and service providers.

A proudly South African manufacturing, import, and distribution company based in Atlantis, Western Cape, is seeking a highly capable General Manager - Finance to join its leadership team.

DEUTIES
  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and manage cash flow forecasts.
  • Oversee year‑end audits and uphold strong governance standards.
  • Manage and develop teams across Debtors, Costings, and Orders.
  • Lead credit management, with the Credit Manager reporting directly to you.
  • Negotiate with banks, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Monitor margins, distribution costs, and manufacturing standard costs.
  • Oversee systems development, IT procurement, and outsourced IT services.
  • Manage bi‑annual stock takes and variance reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, IRP5s, and all statutory requirements.
  • Partner with the Sales team on pricing, budgets, and forecasting.
  • Maintain efficient cash flow management and timely creditor payments.

  • Strong commercial insight, negotiation ability, and problem‑solving acumen.
