What You'll Do

• Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
• Leading the annual budget process and managing cashflow forecasts.
• Overseeing the year‑end audit and maintaining strong governance.
• Managing and developing teams across Debtors, Costings, and Orders.
• Driving credit management, with the Credit Manager reporting directly to you.
• Negotiating with banks, suppliers, and service providers.
• Monitoring margins, distribution costs, and manufacturing standard costs.
• Leading systems development, IT procurement, and outsourced IT function.
• Managing bi‑annual stock takes and variance reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with all statutory reporting requirements (VAT, PAYE, IRP5s, etc.).
• Collaborating with the Sales team on pricing, budgets, and forecasting.
• Ensuring timely creditor payments and sound cash management.

What We're Looking For

• A CA(SA) or BCom degree with at least 7 years of business experience (outside auditing).
• Strong systems knowledge: Sage Pastel (essential), Granite WMS (advantageous).
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Familiarity with AI tools for finance / business efficiency is a plus.
• A proven leader with the ability to manage, mentor, and inspire teams commercially savvy, solutions-focused, and equipped with strong negotiation skills.
