Our client is looking for reliable and hardworking General Construction Labourers to join their teams working on various projects in and around Upington . You will provide essential support to skilled tradespeople and assist with a variety of construction tasks. This role requires physical stamina, a willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to safety on the job site. You will be an integral part of the construction process, contributing to the successful completion of projects through diligent effort and teamwork, working outdoors in varying conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) with their tasks.


• Perform manual labour such as digging trenches, loading and unloading materials, and site cleanup.


• Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely under supervision.


• Follow all site safety rules and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).


• Help maintain a clean and organized worksite.


• Assist with general site maintenance and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a construction environment is advantageous but not essential.


• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
