Job summary

Oude Werf Hotel in Stellenbosch is seeking a General Attendant to maintain a tidy, clean, neat and safe environment for guests and staff. You will assist with a wide range of basic delivery and housekeeping tasks to support daily operations and uphold the hotel's image.

The role requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays, a minimum of one year in similar work, and a proactive, can-do attitude with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Matric or equivalent certificate (advantageous).
• Can-do attitude and follow-through with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate tenacity in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

We are looking to recruit a General Attendant, whose purpose is to create a tidy, clean, neat and safe environment for the hotel guest and staff and to assist in a wide variety of basic delivery and housekeeping jobs as required by the needs of the business and to upkeep the image of the company.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the same or/and similar positions
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Excellent attendance and performance track record
• Matric or equivalent certificate (advantageous)
• Must have a can-do attitude and follow through on actions in a timely way with minimum supervision
• Demonstrate tenacity and the ability to perform in fast moving environment
