Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Data Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or similar role.
• Proficient in GCP stack and BigQuery.
• ETL development and data modeling expertise.
• Familiar with data lakehouse concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines using GCP technologies (Dataflow, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
• Develop and manage ETL processes to structure data for analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver actionable insights.
• Create and maintain documentation for pipelines, architecture, and data models.
• Troubleshoot data issues quickly to minimise disruption.
• Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Automate workflows and keep data quality and integrity.
• Stay updated on new GCP tools and best practices.
