Role – Furniture and Sustainability Designer

This remote position will include the management of a distributed sustainability team while overseeing the delivery of comprehensive furniture and sustainability solutions to JLL and Tetris studios worldwide.

The successful candidate will drive innovation in sustainability and furniture delivery solutions while ensuring seamless project delivery across our international portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Management
    • Manage a remote sustainability team across multiple time zones and regions
    • Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration between sustainability specialists and furniture consultants
    • Establish clear communication protocols for remote team operations and foster professional development
    • Collate information and data into client‑ready presentation formats
    • Develop internal information capture in the JLL Loop Library and Furniture Library
  • Sustainability Strategy & Implementation
    • Establish sustainability service standards, guidelines, and best practices
    • Facilitate monitoring and reporting on sustainability KPIs, including carbon footprint, waste diversion, and sustainable material usage
    • Stay current with global sustainability certifications (LEED, BREEAM, WELL, etc.) and regulatory requirements
  • Furniture Services Management
    • Ensure quality control and compliance with brand standards across all furniture deliverables
    • Drive innovation in sustainable furniture solutions and circular economy practices
    • Develop presentation, layouts and RFP libraries to fast‑track daily functions in Tetris Furniture Solutions
