Urban Think Tank Empower (UTTE) is a non‑profit organization dedicated to uplifting marginalized communities through architecture and design. Originating from the Urban‑Think‑Tank Design Group, UTTE has been active in South Africa since its official registration in September. UTTE collaborates with local and international partners, including community members, government officials, and NGOs, to implement scalable and sustainable urban planning solutions.

Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Fundraiser located in Cape Town, with some work‑from‑home flexibility. The Fundraiser will be responsible for identifying and securing funding opportunities, building relationships with donors and partners, preparing grant proposals, and managing fundraising campaigns. They will also coordinate fundraising events and ensure compliance with funding requirements, working closely with the UTTE team to support the organization’s mission and goals.
