Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Fund Specialist in Cape Town to develop and maintain relationships with Financial Advisers. The ideal candidate will have a B.Com or Investment related Degree, and at least 2 years of Financial Services experience, preferably in Sales or Financial Planning. Fund Specialist required in Constantia, Cape Town.

Fund Specialist with a B.Com or Investment related Degree and minimum 2 years’ Financial Services Industry experience, preferably in Sales or Financial Planning and an understanding of Unit Trusts, required to develop and maintain relationships with FA’s for an Asset Management Company based in Midrand, Cape Town.

Minimum requirements

• B.Com Investment or similar degree essential
• Minimum 2 years’ Financial Services experience, preferably in a Sales or Financial Planning role and an understanding of Unit Trusts, required
• Established advisory relationships will be advantageous
• Understanding of the SA and global macro economic environment required

• Fund Specialist responsibilities and marketing range of Unit Trust Funds to Retail Multi Managers and high profile FA Practices within the independent and corporate market
• Building Asset Management brand in the retail industry
• Relationship management with FA Practices

• Prepare and execute business development strategy
• A solid understanding of the retail market required to define strategies of how the targets will be achieved
