Network Finance is seeking a talented Fund Accountant for the Private Equity space in South Africa. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records for investment funds, performing reconciliations, preparing statements, and liaising with auditors and fund administrators.

The ideal candidate holds a CA(SA) designation with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and prior fund accounting experience.

Formación

• CA(SA) designation is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Previous experience in fund accounting or financial services is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of cash, positions, and market values for investment funds.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with preparation of investor reports and presentations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and fund administrators during audits and reviews.
• Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job & Company Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Fund Accountant to join this finance team. The Fund Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for their investment funds, including performing reconciliations, preparing financial statements, and liaising with external auditors and fund administrators.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) designation is required
• Previous experience in fund accounting or financial services industry preferred

R 1500000 - R 1600000 - Annually
