Job summary

A Remedial and Assisted Learning School is seeking a passionate therapist to join their multidisciplinary team in Randburg. The role involves treating approximately 40 children weekly, conducting assessments, and collaborating with parents and teachers. Responsibilities

• Treat approximately 40 children a week in individual and group settings.
• Conduct assessments and write reports.

• Attend and contribute to Panel Meetings with the team and parents.
• Maintain records to HPCSA and school standards.
• Plan weekly treatment sessions.
• Contribute towards Individual Education Plans (IEP's).
• Maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.

This team provides an integrated service to learners in the primary school, and works closely with teachers and parents to meet the needs of each individual learner. The ideal candidate will have experience working in schools, or with children of primary school age. Knowledge of, or training in Sensory Integration, is an advantage.
