Job summary

A Remedial and Assisted Learning School is seeking a passionate therapist to join their multidisciplinary team in Randburg. The role involves treating approximately 40 children weekly, conducting assessments, and collaborating with parents and teachers. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy, be registered with HPCSA, and be fluent in English. Applications close on 8th November 2025.

Qualifications

  • Police Clearance required.
  • Availability for orientation and handover as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Treat approximately 40 children a week in individual and group settings.
  • Conduct assessments and write reports.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Attend and contribute to Panel Meetings with the team and parents.
  • Maintain records to HPCSA and school standards.
  • Plan weekly treatment sessions.
  • Contribute towards Individual Education Plans (IEP's).
  • Maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.

Orion College (Remedial and Assisted Learning School), in Randpark Ridge, is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team. This team provides an integrated service to learners in the primary school, and works closely with teachers and parents to meet the needs of each individual learner. The ideal candidate will have experience working in schools, or with children of primary school age. Knowledge of, or training in Sensory Integration, is an advantage. Come and join this dynamic and high-quality therapy department.

Position starting in January 2026.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy
