Qualifications

• 2 years of experience caring for newborns.
• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• Fluent in Afrikaans.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence.
• Clear criminal record and contactable references.
• Must reside in or near Middelburg, Mpumalanga.
• Non-smoker; honest, trustworthy and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Provide loving, attentive care for a 2‑month‑old baby.
• Prepare and feed bottles; sterilise and wash feeding equipment.
• Change nappies and maintain hygiene.
• Dress baby appropriately for weather and activities.
• Engage baby in development and sensory activities.
• Follow and maintain the baby’s sleep routine.
• Wash, fold and pack baby laundry; keep nursery tidy.
• Maintain a daily log of feeds, naps, changes and activities.
• Provide daily feedback to parents on wellbeing and routine.
• Perform light household duties related to baby care.
