Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Nanny and Child Educator to provide exceptional care for children in Kimberley, Northern Cape. This full-time role requires a proactive, organized professional with a deep understanding of child development and educational play.

The successful candidate will manage daily routines, create stimulating activities, and support social, emotional, and cognitive growth in a family-home setting. A strong commitment to safety and confidentiality is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of nanny/childcare experience.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is essential.
• Strong knowledge of child development and educational principles.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Must be legally entitled to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time childcare, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
• Develop and implement engaging educational activities, games, and routines.
• Oversee daily schedules, including meals, naps, hygiene, and outdoor play.
• Prepare nutritious and balanced meals and snacks.
• Encourage children's development through reading, creative arts, and age-appropriate learning exercises.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment within the children's living and play areas.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding the children's progress, activities, and any concerns.
• Plan and supervise outings to educational and recreational locations.
• Administer first aid when necessary and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
