Placements24 is seeking a Commercial Cleaning Technician for on-site work across Cape Town. Join a team focused on pristine environments, with a hybrid model allowing some admin tasks to be done remotely.

You will perform a wide range of cleaning duties in diverse commercial settings, upholding our standards and ensuring client satisfaction. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to thoroughness.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and maintain their cleanliness.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring adequate stock of supplies.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Perform floor care duties such as waxing and buffing as needed.
• Respond to special cleaning requests and emergencies promptly.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Follow a predetermined schedule for client sites.
