Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Software Engineer (Front and Back end) based in South Africa to contribute across the full technology stack. You will work on reliable, scalable apps in modern cloud environments, using Java, JavaScript, and Python along with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Professional development experience with Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with frontend state management such as Redux, NgRx, or Vuex.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Containerd for containerization.
• Experience deploying to AWS, Azure, OpenStack, or OpenShift.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile tools like JIRA/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using Java, JavaScript, Python.
• Build and enhance frontend applications with HTML5, CSS3, and ES6+.
• Develop UIs with React, Angular, or Vue.js and state management tools.
• Contribute to backend development with Java, Python, C#, or .NET.
• Design, deploy, and maintain containerized apps using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Support deployments to cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/OpenStack/OpenShift.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts.
• Participate in Agile processes and use JIRA/Confluence for collaboration.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
• Apply critical thinking to improve reliability and performance.
• Support on-time delivery through planning and prioritization.
• Maintain clear technical documentation throughout the lifecycle.
