Job summary

ATS Client in Cape Town is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead front-end work with Vue.js and backend APIs in .NET Core. You will design SQL Server schemas, implement RESTful services, and drive end-to-end delivery.

The role requires 8+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in front-end, plus strong skills in Vue.js, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and Azure DevOps. Collaboration with global teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with 5+ years frontend focus.
• Proficiency in Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and modern JS frameworks.
• Strong experience with .NET Core 3.1+ and legacy .NET Framework maintenance.
• Experience designing SQL Server schemas and writing T-SQL queries.
• Proven Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Experience with micro-frontend architectures and automated testing is a plus.

What you will be doing

• Build / maintain front‑end components using Vue.js, while also implementing / maintaining RESTful APIs in .NET Core.
• Design SQL Server schemas and write efficient T‑SQL queries to support application requirements.
• Drive the project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering / design to deployment and continuous monitoring.
• Provide strategic technical solutions to complex problems.
• Guide and mentor junior team members, conducting code reviews and ensuring the team adheres to best‑practices.
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional and distributed teams.

• Solid experience with .NET Core (3.1+) and the ability to maintain legacy .NET Framework applications, with basic knowledge of SQL Server for schema design and querying.
• Proven ability to work with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), with experience in automated testing frameworks being a plus.
