Job summary

Network IT in Centurion seeks a skilled Backend/DevOps engineer to lead serverless development and system integration. You will own Node.js Lambdas, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based infrastructure while collaborating across teams in an Agile environment.

Required BSc/BEng, 4 years’ experience, AWS, PostgreSQL knowledge, and RESTful APIs. Strong problem-solving abilities and a drive for improving performance and stability are essential.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Studies or IT, or BEng in Computer or Electronic Engineering.
• 4 years' experience on similar projects.
• Cloud, AWS experience.
• Hands-on technical expertise in back-end development and DevOps activities.
• JavaScript/TypeScript for Node.js in Lambdas.
• Experience in database administration (PostgreSQL) beneficial.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and 3rd party integration.
• Good problem-solving skills.
