Placements24 is seeking a versatile Full Stack Developer with strong Java and Angular skills to join its agile development team in Port Elizabeth. You will contribute to backend services and frontend interfaces across the full software lifecycle, delivering high-quality, scalable applications.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of full-stack experience, proficiency in Java/Spring Boot, and solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in Java development and the Spring framework.
• Strong experience with frontend frameworks, particularly Angular.
• Solid understanding of database technologies and SQL.
• Experience with version control (Git) and agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive user interfaces with Angular.
• Design and implement database schemas and interact with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into software.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems.
