Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a proficient Full-Stack Developer in Cape Town to design and implement web and PWA applications. You will work with product managers to craft scalable solutions, while delivering robust front-end and back-end code with attention to performance and security.

The role requires experience with PHP/Laravel, databases (MySQL/MongoDB), and modern deployment practices. You will collaborate across teams, write documentation, and ensure responsive design for mobile

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Experience developing web and PWA applications.
• Familiarity with common stacks and back-end languages/frameworks (e.g., PHP/Laravel).
• Knowledge of databases (MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (Apache, Nginx), and UI/UX design.
• Familiarity with infrastructure build (e.g., Docker, Git, Bitbucket/GitLab).

Responsibilities

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
• Design client-side and server-side architecture.
• Build the front-end of applications with appealing visual design.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
• Create security and data protection settings.
• Build features with mobile responsive design.
• Write technical documentation.
• Collaborate with business analysts and Product Owner to improve software.
