Performance Objectives for Year One

• Modernize Data Integration : Within 9 months successfully lead the design and implementation of a key data integration project using Azure Data Factory / Synapse Pipelines integrating at least two new complex source systems (e.g. On-prem Cloud Vendor) into the enterprise data warehouse.
• Enhance Business Reporting Capabilities : Overhaul and deploy a new suite of critical business dashboards in Power BI within the first 6 months focusing on performance drill-down functionality and user adoption by key business stakeholders.
• Optimize Data Warehouse Performance : Within the first 4 months identify and resolve a major performance bottleneck within the existing data warehouse applying advanced tuning techniques to demonstrably improve query speed for a critical reporting process.
• Elevate Team Standards and Mentor Talent : Within 6 months establish document and implement new coding and quality standards for the data team. Actively mentor two junior developers leading to a measurable improvement in their code quality and delivery velocity.
