A leading fuel management company based in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a detail-oriented Fuel Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing fuel schedules, preparing payments, and maintaining supplier compliance. This role requires a minimum of 2 years in finance, proficiency in SAP and MS Office, and excellent communication skills. Ideal for team players who are reliable and detail-oriented.

Qualifications

  • 2 years' experience within the finance department.
  • Previous experience with SAP is essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and vet fuel schedules against supplier statements.
  • Ensure timely receipt of statements for reconciliation.
  • Prepare fuel payments and resolve queries with suppliers.
  • Maintain Bowser stock and place orders timeously.
  • Ensure compliance on fuel supplier portfolio.

Job description

A vacancy exists for a fuel administrator stationed at our Westville Branch The position will report to the FSG KZN Financial Accountant.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Matric, post matric qualification an added advantage.
  • 2 years' experience within the finance department
  • Previous experience with SAP essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Data capturing.
  • Must be a team player and willing to work extended hours.
Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive):
  • Receiving of internal and external fuel schedules from various Fidelity branches which will be used to vet against supplier fuel statements as this will be captured onto our GreenFleet system which must be done daily/weekly and monthly.
  • Ensuring monthly, weekly and fortnightly statements are received from suppliers for reconciliation.
  • Preparation of fuel payments timeously and resolving all fuel related queries with suppliers and branches.
  • Maintaining of Bowser stock and ensuring orders are placed timeously
  • Maintaining of compliance on fuel supplier portfolio
  • Good knowledge of excel as you will need to be using formula’s throughout the vetting of the statement
