Overview

Heyto Potato is launching a new franchise in South Africa and is seeking friendly, energetic, trustworthy part‑time chips fryers and sales staff for the first phase.

Responsibilities

• Make chips and related food products.
• Sell to the public at events and in‑store.
• Serve customers promptly and professionally.
• Operate the point‑of‑sale system on a tablet.
• Be available on weekends and for early morning (6 am) to late night (10 pm) shifts.

Requirements & Skills

• Own transport (public transport not available).
• Speak English; Afrikaans is a plus.
• Basic math for cash/card transactions.
• Tech savvy – comfortable with a smartphone/tablet.
• Good communication, punctual, presentable.
• Honest, trustworthy, with a clear police record.
• Live near Blackheath or Kuils River.
• Experience in food & beverage or retail is preferred.

Pay & Hours

Pay: R50.00 per hour. Hours: 8–16 per week, mainly weekends, with 5–6 hour events. The role is part‑time, casual and commission‑based.
