The Role: Mid-Level Frontend Engineer

You’ll design and build high-performance, low-latency web applications that visualize real-time athlete and ball-tracking data. This is a hands-on engineering role within a collaborative, cross-functional environment ideal for someone who wants to work on greenfield projects and contribute to technology shaping the future of live sports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain performant, user-friendly web interfaces for sports tech products
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to implement and enhance features
  • Develop interactive data visualizations that drive actionable performance insights
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while participating in code reviews
  • Optimize UI/UX for responsiveness and scalability across multiple devices
  • Integrate APIs and manage asynchronous data flows efficiently
  • Support live system deployments as part of an on-call rotation
About You
  • 3+ years of experience in frontend engineering using JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Strong proficiency in React (or similar frameworks such as Angular or Vue)
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Cypress
  • Skilled in integrating APIs and using Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
  • (Bonus) Experience with real-time or 3D data visualization libraries (e.g. D3.js, Three.js, Babylon.js)
  • (Bonus) Passion for or experience in sports technology, analytics, or wearable devices
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with an eye for detail and performance
