Job summary

Genpact in South Africa is seeking a Front Line Manager - F&A to lead a 35–50 person team within the I2C function. You will oversee daily operations, drive performance, and provide coaching to help team members grow while aligning with client expectations.

This role emphasizes process improvements, regulatory compliance, and clear reporting on team metrics, inventory, and service delivery. You will build a collaborative environment, manage conflicts fairly, and serve as the primary client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Master's degree in Finance or a similar discipline.
• English language proficiency required (Upper Intermediate - B2).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 35 to 50, inspire and motivate to achieve goals.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient workflow management.
• Provide guidance and development for team members.
• Assign tasks based on strengths and project needs, hold regular meetings.
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices.
• Serve as primary client contact for service delivery and issue resolution.
• Prepare reports on team performance, inventory status, and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and SOPs; conduct audits.
• Foster teamwork and manage conflicts fairly.

Job Description

Lead a team size of ~35 to 50 people, inspire and motivate the team to achieve their goals. Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient workflow management. Provide guidance and support to team members for their professional development. Assign tasks based on individual strengths and project requirements and conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions. Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to help team members improve their performance. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding service delivery. Ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded. Address client concerns and provide timely resolutions. Prepare detailed reports on team performance, inventory status, and other relevant metrics. Maintain accurate records of all activities, communications, and decisions. Ensure that documentation is updated regularly and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and collaboration. Implement strategies to prevent conflicts and enhance team cohesion. Address conflicts within the team promptly and fairly. Ensure that all processes comply with regulatory requirements and SOPs. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
