Curro seeks to appoint a French Teacher (High School) (full-time) at Curro Choice in South Africa to commence duties in January 2027. The role involves teaching and coordinating a range of subjects as per the Curro curriculum for the FET phase, with a focus on active teaching, knowledge transfer and skills development.

The ideal candidate holds a BEd or PGCE in FET education (honours advantageous), with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, SACE registration, and a willingness to work extended hours

Formación

• BEd or PGCE in FET phase education, with an honours degree in education (advantageous).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an FET phase teacher.
• SACE-registered; clear criminal record.

Responsabilidades

• Perform teaching duties, including planning lessons using modern-day tools and processes.
• Set up, implement, monitor and adjust the term plan, with differentiated learning materials.
• Create baseline assessments and guide subject choices and remedial programs.
• Plan and manage the classroom, including assessment rosters and parent communication.
• Set up and manage assessments and homework, including moderation and supervision.
• Plan and manage extramural activities and outings.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring and extra lessons.
