Job summary

Sandi Crowther Recruitment is seeking a Regional Operations Support role in KwaZulu-Natal, Durban. You will conduct in-store visits, support franchise partners and store teams with operational excellence, and drive improvements across customer service and retail execution.

The role requires Matric, strong retail experience, travel across the region, and excellent communication and organisational skills. A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are essential to cover multiple salons.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent is required.
• Experience in health and beauty retail is essential.
• Strong retail experience, preferably multi-site.
• Financial and computer literacy.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular in-store visits and provide hands-on operational support to franchise partners and store teams.
• Lead monthly operational reviews focusing on performance and action plans.
• Complete and submit monthly SOP compliance checklists.
• Drive improvements across treatments, retail sales, customer service and daily procedures.
• Act as a brand custodian and ensure compliance with standards.
• Identify training requirements and coordinate interventions with the training department.
• Work with Franchise Partners to develop budgets, targets and store action plans.
• Analyse turnover, margins, expenses and productivity to improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular in-store visits, providing hands‑on operational support to Franchise Partners and store teams


• Lead monthly operational reviews, focusing on performance, execution gaps and action plans


• Complete and submit monthly SOP compliance checklists


• Drive improvements across treatments, retail sales, customer service and daily operating procedures


• Act as a brand custodian, ensuring compliance with product, treatment, operational, training, marketing and salon standards


• Identify training requirements and coordinate interventions with the relevant training department


• Work with Franchise Partners to develop and track budgets, targets and store-specific action plans


• Analyse financial performance, including turnover, margins, expenses and productivity, to identify opportunities to improve profitability and cash flow


• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum Matric


• Good knowledge of the Health and Beauty industry


• Strong retail experience, preferably within a multi-site environment


• Financial and computer literacy


• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle


• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills


• Ability to independently manage and oversee multiple salons


• Fanatical attention to detail
