SUMMARY :

We are currently looking for a Forklift / Reach Truck Operator to operate forklift and reach truck equipment safely and efficiently to support warehouse operations, including loading, offloading, stacking, and moving stock. Ensures accuracy, safety, and timeliness in handling goods and maintaining warehouse standards.

POSITION INFO :

Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 / Matric (advantageous)
• Valid Forklift and Reach Truck license (essential)
• Proven experience operating forklift / reach truck in a logistics / warehouse environment (2-4 years preferred)
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols
• Must be willing to work SHIFT WORK & WEEKENDS
• Excellent operating and coordination skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Physically fit and able to lift and move items when required
• Ability to read and follow operational documents (delivery notes, picking slips, etc.)

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate forklift and reach truck equipment to load, offload, stack, and transport goods
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, and movement of inventory as per company procedures
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and operate machinery safely according to safety standards
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including pallet wrapping and stock movement
• Support inbound and outbound logistics processes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse area.
• Assist with stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory management tasks
• Ensure correct product handling to prevent damage and stock loss
• Report damaged stock, discrepancies, or equipment faults immediately
• Adhere to all occupational health & safety regulations and company safety policies
• Operate equipment safely and use required PPE at all times
• Maintain a safe working environment and report hazards.
