Job summary

Staff Unlimited Recruitment is seeking a Forklift Operator for our client in East London/KuGompo. The role requires operating a forklift, receiving stock, loading and dispatching goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key requirements include Grade 12 or relevant certificate, forklift licence, and Code 10 driver's licence, with prior experience preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedure and wear protective clothing.
• Accurately receive stock from suppliers.
• Offload materials and palletised stock from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places.
• Locate and move stock to pallets/crates for storage or dispatch.
• Efficiently dispatch solid stock to customers.
• Load materials and move from storage areas into trucks/containers for dispatch.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Transport raw material to production workstations.
• Inspect forklift and perform regular maintenance.
• Maintain updated records of inventory and activity logs.
• Assist in maintaining security over stock.
• Participate in frequent variances.
• Maintain a safe and orderly environment.
• Import knowledge on Students.
• Any other reasonable instructions within scope of work.

Forklift Operator

Our client in the development leasing and management of commercial and industrial real estate is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team.

Job Location: East London/KuGompo

Responsibility

• Follow safety procedure and wear protective clothing.

• Accurately receive stock from suppliers

• Offload materials and merchandise and palletised stock items from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places, in the warehouse

• Locate and move stock of products to pallets/crates for storage or dispatch

• Efficiently dispatch solid stock to customers

• Load materials and merchandise and move from storage areas into trucks/containers for dispatch

• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies

• Transport raw material to production workstations

• Inspect Forklift to determine needs for repairs and perform regular maintenance

• Maintain updated records of inventory and activity logs

• Assist in maintaining security over stock

• Participate in frequent variances

• Maintain a safe an orderly environment
