Peoplefinder Career Placements is seeking a Stock Forecaster for our client in the Retail industry to ensure optimum stock levels through forecasting and data-driven planning.

The role involves system coordination for supplier accounts, setting item parameters, placing purchase orders, and supporting promotional planning and replenishment to meet service targets.

Excellent communication, advanced Excel, and strong planning skills are essential for success in a pressured environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key performance areas:

• System coordination for supplier accounts to optimize the most profitable order patterns/frequency
• Item parameter setting and data analysis to enable optimal forecasting results
• Place supplier purchase orders to ensure achievement of inventory and service
• Promotional planning and replenishment
• Project management
• Data analysis and reporting

Desired Experience & Qualification

The successful candidate must have:

• Matric with a relevant degree
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• Computer literate (Excel – Advanced would be advantageous)
• Product and market knowledge
• Ability to cope under pressure
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Proven leadership skills
