Job summary

A leisure company in Hartbeespoort is seeking an experienced Manager to oversee catering operations. The successful candidate must have a National Diploma in Hotel Catering, at least 8 years of experience in the catering sector, and strong financial acumen. Responsibilities include ensuring hygiene standards, managing HR processes, and achieving monthly budgets. Candidates with diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure daily communication with Head of Departments & Superiors.
  • Control Processes on COS to achieve monthly budgets.
  • Ensure daily sales balance to income statements.
  • Verify that Quality of Hygiene Standards, food quality according to Company standards is checked daily.
  • Monitor the appropriate needs and ensure that on the job training is done.
  • Verify that all HR processes are managed.
  • Verify accuracy of supplier Invoices & data from stock system.
  • Handover, reports & control documents.
  • Verify that Health, Safety and hygiene processes are managed accordingly.

Skills

Grade 12
National Diploma in Hotel Catering or Equivalent

5 years Managerial experience
Valid driver license
Language fluent in English
