Placements24 is seeking a vigilant Quality Control Analyst in Paarl to ensure top product quality across an FMCG range. You will test raw materials, in-process samples and finished goods, document deviations, and work with production to implement corrective actions.

Ideal candidates have a background in QA, meticulous record-keeping, and a commitment to maintaining trusted product standards across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related scientific field.
• Previous experience as a Quality Control Analyst or similar role, preferably in the FMCG or food industry.
• Knowledge of quality control testing methodologies and laboratory equipment.
• Strong understanding of relevant quality standards and regulations.
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Analyze test results, identify any non-conformities, and document findings accurately.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with production and R&D teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of all testing and quality control activities.
