Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and detail-oriented FMCG Financial Analyst to join their finance team supporting operations in Paarl . You will be responsible for providing critical financial insights, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and analyzing financial performance to drive strategic decision-making within the fast-moving consumer goods sector . This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders. You will play a key role in optimizing financial performance and supporting the sustainable growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for relevant departments and projects.
• Develop financial models to support business cases, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into trends and potential risks or opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide support for operational decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the FMCG industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables) and financial reporting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
