Job summary

Bash is seeking a Flutter Engineer to join our mobile team in Cape Town. You will help build our Bash Mobile App and the wider Flutter ecosystem, adding features, resolving issues, and refactoring legacy code while collaborating with guilds to expand capabilities.

We value teamwork, initiative and a passion for creating seamless omni-channel experiences for customers. This is a fast-paced role within a cutting-edge retail tech environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Flutter.
• Experience with JS/Typescript.
• Experience bridging native and Flutter code (plugins/packages).
• Experience building production-ready mobile applications in Flutter.

Responsibilities

• Work with various teams within the omnichannel commerce space to deliver experiences that focus on helping customers.
• Work on the Bash Mobile App.
• Contribute to Bash’s mobile and Flutter ecosystem through guild participation.
• Work on the BFF (Backend for Frontend).
• Manage and optimise high traffic products while also building POCs for new initiatives.
• Define metrics and track progress against them regularly.
• Communicate plans and progress to cross-functional partners and leadership.
• Drive the execution and delivery of your team’s goals.
