Placements24 is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team in Upington, Northern Cape, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the vehicle fleet. You will supervise technicians, plan preventative maintenance, and oversee repairs while keeping detailed records of all fleet activity.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, solid knowledge of fleet operations, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, reliable fleet.

Qualifications

• Minimum supervisory or management experience in fleet maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet operations.
• Experience with heavy-duty and light commercial vehicles.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and control costs.
• Valid driver's license and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the fleet maintenance team.
• Develop and implement effective preventative maintenance schedules for all vehicles.
• Oversee vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repair processes.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to ensure availability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies related to fleet maintenance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and generate reports on fleet performance and costs.
