Placements24 in Welkom, Free State, is seeking an experienced Fleet Driver to join our operations. You will operate company vehicles, maintain them, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries and pickups within the Welkom area.

The role requires a Code 10 driver's license with an excellent driving record, at least four years of professional driving experience, and the ability to handle various vehicle types safely. Strong organizational skills and basic loading duties may be involved.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 10 Driver's License with an excellent driving record.
• Minimum of 4 years professional driving experience.
• Ability to operate a variety of vehicle types safely and efficiently.
• Good knowledge of the road network in and around Welkom and the Free State.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for record-keeping.
• Physical capability to perform loading and unloading tasks when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles, ranging from light commercial to medium-duty trucks, as assigned.
• Transport goods, equipment, or personnel to designated locations according to schedules.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles, reporting any issues promptly.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and on time within the Welkom area.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and submit relevant reports on mileage and fuel consumption.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
