Key Responsibilities
  • Operation: Set and operate CNC horizontal and vertical boring (3‑5 axis) and CNC lathe, machine components to drawing specification, within the required standard of quality and time, work with tolerance of 12 microns, sign first off components.
  • Technical: Read and alter offsets on CNC programs, identify inserts and troubleshoot where necessary, use measuring instruments – outside and inside microns, verniers, telescopic gauges, thread and blade microns, bore microns, thread gauges, hard part machining, maintain 5S housekeeping and safety on machines.

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications
  • Qualified Fitter and Turner.
  • Valid Forklift and Overhead Crane Licenses.
  • 5 years’ post trade test experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating CNC machines.
