• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on equipment.

Fitter & Turner position available in Cape Town.

A well-established Manufacturing Engineering company is looking for a Fitter & Turner to join their team on a 6 month fixed term contract period (with the possibility of extension) in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town.

Very good compensation package on offer.

Position Requirements:

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
• Trade Certificate / Red Seal Fitter & Turner
• At least 3 plus years Post Trade Experience
• Worked within Manufacturing Environment
• Work hours 07h30 to 16h00 Monday to Friday

Position Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in Preventative Maintenance Routines
• Competence in Welding, Milling, and Turning
• Familiarity with Pneumatics and Hydraulics
• Experience with Gearboxes, Water Systems, and Cooling Towers
• Basic Electrical Skills
• Ability to perform Bearing and Shaft Changing
• Aptitude in Fault Finding and Diagnosis
• Knowledge of Lubrication techniques
