• 5+ years in a technical role, ideally in pre-sales, customer support, or software engineering.
• Proven experience in integrating technical solutions for external partners or merchants.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
• Strong commitment to ensuring merchants succeed with effective solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and merchant accounts while prioritizing tasks.
• Understanding of South Africa’s fintech ecosystem and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Craft solution proposals and pitches with the sales team.
• Lead technical discovery calls to understand prospects' technical setups.
• Demonstrate product capabilities through live demos and tools.
• Collaborate with merchants to design tailored payment solutions.
• Prepare Scope of Work documents for implementation.
• Regularly review merchant performance and optimization recommendations.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor and maintain client relationships.
• Develop an Industry Strategy Playbook for market-specific needs.
