The ideal candidate is passionate about guiding clients through complex financial decisions, building long-term relationships, and helping them achieve their financial goals.

You’ll have access to an existing client base and a steady flow of quality leads—enabling you to concentrate on providing sound advice, delivering exceptional service, and expanding your portfolio.

Salary: Basic salary negotiable dependent on experience, plus commission and incentives.

Requirements
  • Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification (BCom/BusSci/Hons preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Financial Planner
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written)
  • RE5 qualification essential
  • CFP® designation (or working towards it) advantageous
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a professional team based in Newlands
  • Meet with new and existing clients (in-person or virtually)
  • Follow structured onboarding processes for new clients
  • Provide comprehensive investment and financial advice
  • Assist clients with offshore investment strategies
  • Support clients with tax, estate, and will planning
  • Conduct portfolio and investment reviews
  • Stay informed on markets, legislation, and financial products
  • Handle client queries efficiently and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure compliance with FICA and regulatory requirements
