A leading financial operations company in Gauteng is seeking a proactive professional to manage and optimize financial operations across the dealer network. The ideal candidate will enhance dealer profitability, manage incentive schemes, oversee advertisement funds, and liaise with financial institutions. A degree in Commerce and at least 5 years of relevant experience are required. This role also demands strong analytical skills and the ability to work across Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams.
Seeking a proactive and analytical professional to manage and optimize financial operations across our dealer network.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and improving dealer profitability, managing and optimising dealer incentive schemes and benchmarking the same versus industry, overseeing the dealer advertisement fund and its rightful utilisation, processing dealer claims within specified turnaround time while complying with all compliance requirements and internal processes and approvals, and liaising with banks and financial institutions for dealer / end customer financing solutions.
Analyze dealership financial statements to assess profitability and recommend improvement plans.
Track and report key dealer KPIs (e.g., gross margin, working capital, ROI).
Develop dashboards and MIS reports for dealer health monitoring.
Provide support and guidance to underperforming dealers.
Design and implement incentive programs aligned with company sales and service objectives.
Coordinate with Sales and IT teams to ensure seamless incentive disbursement.
Track dealer performance against incentive metrics and share regular updates with stakeholders.
Audit and validate claims related to incentive programs to avoid misuse.
Oversee the allocation, utilisation and audit of the Dealer Advertisement Fund.
Ensure adherence to guidelines and approval processes for dealer-led campaigns.
Collaborate with the Marketing team for co-branded campaigns and fund disbursal.
Track ROI of local marketing efforts and recommend optimisations.
Establish a transparent and timely claims management process for warranty, incentives and other dealer reimbursements.
Coordinate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies in claims.
Comply with all internal processes, compliance and approvals.
Monitor claim turnaround times and maintain SLA adherence.
Implement periodic audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Build and maintain relationships with banks / financial institutions to facilitate inventory and retail financing for dealers.
Negotiate favourable terms for the dealer network and assist in onboarding new financiers.
Act as a liaison between the dealer and financial institutions to resolve funding-related issues.
Track dealer credit utilisation and support in managing dealer liquidity.
Degree in Commerce / Business Administration
MBA in Finance (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of commercial marketing management experience, preferably in the automotive industry or similar / related sector.
Strong knowledge of product positioning, consumer trend analysis, campaign planning, development and execution, as well as strong project-management experience.
Proficient understanding of and related platforms.
Financial acumen and understanding of cost optimisation through ROI metric measurements.
Strong analytical and financial acumen
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
Sound understanding of automobile dealer operations
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems (SAP, DMS, etc.) preferred
Ability to work cross-functionally across Sales, Finance and Marketing teams
Collaborative, Agile and bold person to support dealer network
Internal Stakeholders – Sales Teams, Product Team, Aftersales Team, Marketing.
External Stakeholders – Vendors, Dealership, IO Support functions.
